Video Description:

What does the science of canine cognition bring to an understanding of working dogs and the K9 team? I review some relevant findings from this new but burgeoning field. I will focus in particular on our own lab's analysis of play behavior: its effects, its link to cognition, and its possible usefulness as an assessment tool.
