MAJ Nicholas R. Cabano attended Veterinary School at the University of California Davis from 1999-2003. MAJ Cabano earned a Master’s of Science in Clinical Sciences as part of his Small Animal Surgical Residency program at the Colorado State University - College of Veterinary Medicine from 2007-2010. He became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2013, completing credentialing as a Board Certified Veterinary Surgeon. He currently serves as the Chief of Surgery and Rehabilitation Services for the Department of Defense Military Working Dog Veterinary Service at JBSA Lackland, Texas.
